Elizabeth Bowen
Julia Parry was brought up in West Africa, educated at St Andrews, and has spent many years teaching English literature in classrooms around the world. Her first book, The Shadowy Third: Love, Letters and Elizabeth Bowen was awarded the Royal Society of Literature Prize in 2022. She lives in London (though her heart is in Madrid).
